Lentara is a young adult fiction science fiction novel. The Minigara family are from a race known as the Lentarans. They are a peaceful race and their original mission was to spend ten years on Earth fitting in with humans and learning about culture as well as science and technology. Little did they know that an evil alien race known as the Pigaseans was already on Earth waiting for them to arrive so that they could steal a device very important to Lentara and the universe. Jennise Minigara, who begins her journey on Earth feeling uncomfortable and self-conscious, finds a boy named Alex, a boy with Albinism who shares a similar trait with her. Their friendship is non-existent at first, but they both find comfort in help from each other and form a bond while working to thwart the Pigaseans plans. He becomes the one person who always believes in her, and she finds that humans aren't as bad as she had originally thought.
The Pigaseans become ruthless in their attempt to get what they have come for, and have no problems killing millions of innocent people in the process. They use mind games and deception to try to get ahead.
An ancient prophecy is revealed in the worst of times about a human and a Lentaran and is something no one could have predicted, but gives a chance for the humans to make their name known throughout the universe.

A wonderful, active imagination is what this Author has! A must teen read for those Sci-Fi junkies. Although there were a few grammatical errors, I still give this book a five! Jennise was going to be attending high school on earth as a typical teen which is normal if one is from earth, however Jennise is from Lentara, a planet far away. She soon decides that earth isn’t such a bad place even if it does have some jerks on it. Then the Pigaseans threaten her happiness on earth and her friends come up missing. If you want to find out more you will just have to read this book.Product details

This is a real page turner. It starts out as your typical teenage story with aliens coming to earth and trying to fit in. However, soon after making some friends, Jennise realizes there is a huge threat to the planet that she now calls home and she has to work with the other Lentarans to try to neutralize the threat. The story is full of action and adventure. It had me laughing at some parts and crying at others. While this was written with teenage characters, I think any sci-fi fan will appreciate the plot. Make sure you have plenty of time when you go to read this as it is hard to put down.
If you have even a passing interest in sci-fi or great character development and imaginative story telling in general you'll love this book, lots of exciting moments and lots of emotion in this one...it's like a whole new world that you can get lost in, great work and looking forward to the next one!
